Both approaches can support the same workflow in different ways. The best starting point is where the equipment needs to be used.

When the device stays in one place

A wall-mounted arrangement can keep a working area clear when the device has a consistent location. Check the mounting surface, reach and cable route before selecting the arm. Installation requirements should be confirmed for the actual wall or support structure.

When equipment is shared

A mobile cart may suit equipment used in several rooms. Consider the full route, storage position and available floor space. Confirm the device fixing method as well as the cart configuration.

Choose movement deliberately

A standard arm, variable-height arm and tabletop stand provide different positioning options. Share the intended device position and user requirements rather than selecting an arm from appearance alone.

Confirm the connection

Device interfaces are not always interchangeable. Ask for the exact mounting plate and fixing arrangement. Where a VESA interface is used, confirm the pattern, hardware and supported load for the complete assembly.
